Counseling may feel like a last resort for you. You might think, “Why should I even consider counseling?” You have probably even questioned whether your problem is truly significant, or how a counselor could possibly help? I understand your concerns. It is my desire to meet you exactly where you are and give you the tools for where you want to go. Are you ready for change? I will provide practical skills and Biblical insight for every day life with whatever issues are concerning you.
Feeling endless shame from turning to your sex addiction after multiple failed promises to quit? Feeling hopeless in your pursuit of being free? Does arguing with your spouse have you convinced that what you have ruined cannot be repaired? Maybe you believe the traumatic event in your past will never allow you to truly live? Are you under burdens that feel too heavy to carry? I am here to help you in your journey towards healing.
My areas of focus include the following: men with sex/porn addiction, marriage and couple conflicts, as well as trauma. I am passionate about helping men recover from the effects of their addiction in order to fully engage in the life they want to live and lead.
If you are ready to discuss your problems with the purpose of change, you have come to the right place. With every session, I work to address the root of the issues brought to counseling. I am interested in helping you find a solution that works for you.
I have been practicing in DFW since 2011. I graduated from Texas Tech University with my Bachelor’s in Psychology and from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. Early in my adolescence, I was keenly aware of the suffering around me. I quickly realized that people needed real skills and tools to help them overcome life issues and painful problems, and I could not wait to offer help. Since committing to the call of being a counselor, I have looked forward to the day of opening my own practice. I am now living my dream of helping others live their lives by design, instead of default.
